This project was selected by a collective consultation of the class. The objective is to improve the energy and water supply within Porto Conte, a Natural Park located near our city, Alghero; promoting some ideas necessary to reduce traditional energy consumption by using alternatives.

We have analyzed the data relating to the consumption, production and demand for renewable energy in Europe, Italy and especially in Sardinia in recent years, comparing them with various information platforms and reporting them graphically.

During this project we conducted interviews with the engineers leading the " waves4water" project and the mayor of our city. The most important parts of our project were the interviews and meetings held with the experts, who not only helped us understand the project in general but also in detail by providing us with the information necessary to best complete the various phases; In our blog we have included the interviews conducted, thanks to which we were able to provide answers to some of our questions about the project.

We intend to continue to follow and monitor this project, because it is important for our city as it involves the development of a renewable source of energy that exploits wave motion and could become a very important resource being located on the coast.
