Pitch 1:

Our researches made us discover what Is hidden behind a ministeriale project which seems a perfect idea from the outside but can have many problems only visible if you examine it from the inside. Projects like this are very appreciated by people who need help from institutions because of the struggles they face everyday. Fragile people deserve help, especially children, because they have the right to grow up safely and happily. This project consisted of a bonus that allows poor parents to send children to daycare. It allows moms to work and have more independence and save money. Both of these things are very important for the social independence of women, who are not obliged anymore to stay at home and take care of children and poor families can have two full salaries instead of spending a big part of them for childcare, which is very helpful for families who don’t have a good economic situation.

Pitch 2:

FuturelandExplorers’s Crew has interviewed the regional councillor Simona Ferro, and found out a lot of info: the public call is being renewed every year, increasing founds more and more, reaching about 8.000.000 euros.

Every year the demand grows a lot, reaching about 36.000 applications, it financially helped many families that are now more inclined to enroll their kids to nurseries.

Starting from this year, this bonus can be used even in private nurseries, and in the first 48 hours, all the available funds were already finished, having about 1654 applications already met.

The condition to get this bonus were only 2, not having an ISEE higher than 35.000 euros per year, and having a child between 3-36 months.

Pitch 3:

Our goal is to continue monitoring the project, we were very lucky because we had the opportunity to work with Kiwanis, and we hope to keep in touch with them. We will try to monitor the project by calling directly the facilities or people concerned and when this is not possible we will reach out by e-mail, hoping for a swift response. Once received all the data necessary to compare them with those of previous years and have a statistics of growth or decrease we will try to identify the causes and possibly give suggestions to solve the problem or continue the positive trend. The most interesting thing will be to use this data in the context of our PCTO project, since this is the second year that we collaborate with nurseries and it is part of our school's curriculum.
