The inauguration event of the pilot project At the School of OpenCohesion in Croatia is taking place today, Monday 16 December, in Zagreb, in the presence of the Minister for Regional Development and EU Funds Marko Pavić, the representatives of the Ministry of Labour, of the Ministry of Education, of the European Commission Representation in Croatia.
The event, in which the ASOC team takes part, officially marks the start of the operational phase of the international experimentation of the Italian model A Scuola di OpenCoesione in the EU Member States selected by the European Commission – DG REGIO (Croatia, Bulgaria, Greece, Portugal, Spain).
The protagonists of the experimental educational programme also participate in the opening event, namely the teachers and students of the 5 schools selected for the pilot project in Croatia: "Ivan Supek" in Zagreb, Obrovac Liceum, "Franje Petrića" of Zadar, Gospić Gymnasium, Nova Gradiška Gymnasium.
This is an important day for ASOC, which is about to become a landmark in Europe for innovative teaching on the issues of transparency, participation and civic monitoring.
