At the School of OpenCohesion: Lesson 1 starts in Croatia!

Lesson 1 of the international pilot project At the School of OpenCohesion (#ASOCEU) starts today in Croatia!

The Italian ASOC team is now in Zagreb to support the Croatian referents of the Ministry for Regional Development and EU Funds – the project’s Managing Authority – in the organisation and management of the first online webinar with the teachers of the five schools involved in the project (Zagreb, Zadar, Obrovac, Gospić and Nova Gradiška).

In the online meeting, the organisational topics and educational contents of Lesson 1 are shown and studied in depth: Cohesion Policy in Europe, Civic Monitoring, Open Data, Research methods through the collection of secondary data, In-Class Exercises (Data Expedition and Research Dossier), how to assign the homework and fill the Report 1, and so on.

In Croatia, the #ASOCEU pilot project i salso supported by the Representation of the European Commission in Croatia, the Regional Coordinators of the Ministry for Regional Development and EU Funds, the Government Office for Cooperation with NGOs.

The first step that the schools will face now will be the choice of the projects to be monitored on their territories: they will go through this using as the main source of information https://strukturnifondovi.hr, the national information web portal on European Structural and Investment Funds.
