ASOC students at the dialogue-event with the EU Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms Elisa Ferreira

 

Monday 12 October was a very special day in Brussels!

Within the Citizens' Dialogue program of the Europen Week of Regions and Cities, organized by the European Commission - DG REGIO, the students of the pilot project At the School of OpenCohesion debated with the EU Commissioner for Cohesion and Reforms Mrs. Elisa Ferreira on the main themes of this year's #EURegionsWeek: Empowering Citizens, Cohesion and Cooperation, Green Europe.

Some delegations representing the winning teams of the ASOC pilot project took part in the event at the Brussels venue:

• Bulgaria, School Binoculars (Училищен бинокъл) from Silistra (Силистра)
• Greece - Thessaly: Karla Lakers from Larissa

 

 

Representatives of the other winning teams from ASOC partner Countries participated remotely:

• Croatia: Edu-Akcija from Zadar
• Greece - Ionian Islands: The H2O Explorers from Argostoli (Celafonia)
• Greece - Peloponese: Mare nostrum vita nostra from Neapoli
• Spain (Catalunia): Ecolliures from Mataró

The delegations of the schools "Einaudi-Pareto" of Palermo and "G. M. Galanti" of Campobasso were also connected from Italy, both selected on the basis of their long-term participation and the results achieved in the various editions of the Italian ASOC project.
