The ASOC workshop at the #EURegionsWeek

06 October 2021

Next Wednesday 13 October 2021, from 11:30 to 13:00 will be held the online workshop organised by the ASOC Team within the European Regions Week: "At the School of OpenCohesion: civic monitoring stories from European students".

The workshop is part of the "Citizens engagement for an inclusive, participative and fair recovery" section, which focuses on the following themes: mobilising EU citizens for the post-pandemic re-launch of local economies, reflect on the current EU delivery of cohesion policy and its effectiveness in addressing people needs.

Two years after the launch of the European experimentation "At the School of OpenCohesion - ASOC EU", it will be an opportunity to start a comparison between the European partners involved in the largest framework of the European Week of Regions and Cities #EURegionsWeek, organized by the EU Commission.

The event will be attended by the representatives of the international experimentation of the ASOC project - Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Spain - who will illustrate the results achieved in recent years and will talk about the civic monitoring research carried out by schools in the territories, also with the help of video testimonials from teachers and students.

On this occasion it will be possible to start a discussion that can be stimulating not only for all the countries already involved, but also for the countries that want to undertake the path. Thanks to the interactive tools made available by the EuRegionsWeek platform, participants will be able to interact with the speakers.
