A civic and educational journey to monitor Interreg public funds: the same project, observed by schools from different Countries
Through a cross-border civic monitoring research, students will explore the socio-economic, environmental, and cultural characteristics of their territory. They will analyse real data on Interreg funding, comparing their findings with a twin school in the other Country
Offer your students practical, civic, and cross-cultural skills by partnering with a twin school abroad and starting effective European cooperation from the ground up
WHAT STUDENTS LEARN
ASOC ETC combines civic education, digital skills, storytelling, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills to produce impactful stories based on data from European interventions. Students also learn the value of cross-border cooperation and the role of EU funds in connecting different cultures
Schools can choose to use ASOC ETC as part of their Civic Education curriculum or as a work experience. Participating teachers will be trained for guiding their class
COMMUNITY
Schools will be supported by a network of experts in civic monitoring and cohesion policy, and key figures from both Countries to ensure a well-coordinated and integrated cross-border experience
FINAL EVENT
Final research projects will be evaluated by a jury of experts. The winning Italian and Croatian school pair will be invited to a final event, where they will present their work to a broader audience and exchange knowledge with peers and experts
Empower your students to experience active citizenship as they discover European cooperation!
