Despite the journey started 7 months ago is now over, our mission against the pollution of the water won't end. We, Blue Gold team made up by the students of 3D Liceo Scientifico "Luigi Lilio" in Cirò (Kr), chose this project because we consider water an essential resource for life and therefore it is important to safeguard and protect it. The goal of our civic monitoring is to have accessible and clean water. We collected and analyzed various data at the site of opencohesion. These show us that the public expenditure monitored is € 1,400,000, of which cohesion resources € 741,153.39. The progress is still ongoing despite the actual start dates back to 28/12/2007 and the end to 16/06/2009. We didn't have access to many sources, so we succeeded to have this kind of information only.

To deepen and analyze in detail the project we monitored, the research expanded into the area of interviews. 
We engaged with CONGESI project managers: Giuseppe Leone, Michele Liguori, and Pasquale Varano. Among the most significant questions we asked, the following ones:
"What made this intervention necessary?"
 "How was the project implemented?"
 Each of us committed in doing our assigned task to the best of our ability, collaborating at every moment as a team and working steadily.

With this project, over the course of these months we have been able to become passionate about the subject matter and fully understand its importance; therefore, it is necessary to follow the water purification project of the municipality of ciró in the future as well by maintaining contact with the CONGESI project managers interviewed earlier. We will be interested in following this project step by step by organizing visits to the water purification plant so that we can stay up to date.
