Hi everyone, we are 15 students involved in the ASOC ETC project and we decided to monitor the Take It Slow project. We represent Italy and our team is called Adriatically-Turical. We are happy to share our progress and ideas with you.
Our decision to join the project stems from our sensitivity to the topic of ecological tourism. We are in fact involved with news on everything related to the topic, but no one ever really does anything to make it a way of life and not just a topic to be discussed.
Our name comes from an idea that was born in class. We wanted to represent the project and we’ve created the word Adriatically for the areas involved in the project which are those on the Adriatic side. We then added Tourical that is the symbol of targeted sustainability that should characterize tourism, interpreted as slow and sustainable. Tourical is the mix of two words: Tourism and Ecological.
To make our project public and to spread and share its importance, we decided to be present on the various social networks that dominate current affairs. In fact, you can find us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube thanks to which you can access our content.
With this project we want to develop sustainable, intelligent and slow tourism throughout the Adriatic region, particularly in our region, Molise. Our Region is a very beautiful place, with many landscapes, such as mountains and seas and very beautiful monuments. We hope to do all this in a sustainable and long-team way.
We are ready to do everything we can to make it happen soon.
