Our team has chosen an innovative project.It is a theme that has always involved and fascinated us. Our idea to optimize line 1 Garibaldi- Capodichino is to insert and take advantage of solar energy and panels. The available fund is € 63,834,989.
The start of the project took place on 01/01/2000 and the expected end should have been on 03/31/2014 and instead the project is still in progress with a delay of 77.
We found various data:
• The daily trips are approximately 242 and consume 508.2 Kwh.
• the energy in a day is 10 ^ 6 • 508.2 therefore it is 508.200.00.
Therefore, we will be able to get the data.
The years of a solar panel are on average 25, the single cost is 300 €.
By calculating that the necessary panels are 1161, we will be able to cover 348.082.192 kwh, spending a total of 348.300 €.

During this project we held various meetings, including a meeting with an ISTAT representative who helped us in the creation of our project.
We compared various sources, both private and public, such as the Municipality of Naples which deals with the construction of the subway. In addition, we attended a press conference attended by the mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi who mentioned the theme of sustainability several times and pushed us into the sustainable realization we were aiming for. Among the various sources, we have further analyzed the materials that the ISTAT representative provided us in which all the data, funds and possibilities we have to ensure that it can come true are indicated. With the collaboration of other sources it will  be possible to realize this project dear to us.

At the monitoring level, we thought we could elect a group leader who can speak with any representative who may like and be interested in our project.
Our aim will obviously be to guarantee people an efficient service and to involve them in using the section of line 1 on which we are working.
Thanks to this it will be possible to reduce the use of cars that pollute and take advantage of a sustainable service. Pollution is a serious issue that we want to actively address.
