We are a group of students from Liceo Palumbo and we want to introduce you to our project.
It's a project we care a lot about, and it cost us many hours of work.
In fact, our project is the winner among a series of proposals all aimed at improving the quality of our life.
So this project turned out to be the most likely to make life better for all of us!
In fact, it is a question of monitoring how the funding has actually contributed to improving the clean-up of the seabed in the port of Brindisi.
It seemed to us a fantastic idea for some kids who live by the sea!

A LITTLE BIT ABOUT IT
In 2007, 34.552.171,33 € were allocated for the purpose of de-polluting the seabed and redeveloping the area. The project started officially in 2009 and ended in 2013 and all the planned funds have been used.

WHY WE CHOSE THIS PROJECT?
We’ve chosen this project because it is about a historic area of our city. It would be interesting to see if this money was really used for this purpose and how. If it improved in any way the quality of life of those who live at the “villaggio pescatori” but especially if even today the results are still evident or if the situation has returned to where it was.
HOW WE WANT TO REACH OUR GOALS?
In order to achieve our goals, we may enlist the help of experts who will serve to verify the condition of the seabed, field trips, interviews with those who implemented the project and those who, living nearby, can tell us about the past and present situation.
