Pitch

Titolo del Pitch:
Ulisse on the datas' boat
Pitch 1:

We are students of the 4Q class of the socio-economic high school "Manfredo Fanti" (Carpi) and we get involved to analyze the data of the #asoc2223 project for @ulissefashion ! We will carry out this very important open government project on cohesion policies in Italy with determination: we are ready to face this challenge!

The research we have chosen is based on the project “La moda made in Carpi”; in particular, we have decided to focus on the company “Ulisse Fashion Art Details SRL”, based in our city. Carpi in fact is famous for its textile industries: seeing that fashion is one of the leading sectors for the Italian economy, we thought it could be interesting to work on this theme. The project financed the fairs, which contributed to the expansion of the company in particular in France and Germany. Some of the data that we analysed were provided to us by the owner of the company, that we were lucky to meet, while others of them were found online, for example on ISTAT’s website. The goal of our research was to understand how the funds were used and if they helped to achieve the stated objectives.

We are 4Questd4t4!

Pitch 2:

The most significant stages of interviews are the meetings with the experts and the professors, in particular we learned how to write a journalism article, we got to know the history of the textile industry of Carpi and all the information relating to the sector worldwide, we also learned how to analyse and how to search data thanks to the interview to ISTAT-Statistical culture Emilia-Romagna. We asked to the owner of the company involved in the project if the invested funds achieved the goal for which they were allocated, or if they have achieved marginal goals that they hadn't planned on achieving and if the money was sufficient to achieve the goal of the project and finally if they were satisfied with what they have achieved; these are the key points of our investigation.

Pitch 3:

To continue monitoring the project we thought of several proposals, for example we can do advertising campaigns to increase Ulisses fame abroad, considering our knowledge in English and Spanish we could help in the intermediation with their clients in the diffusion of their activity. Since our monitoring project has ended, and therefore the general and particular objectives of the company have already been achieved, we believe that it is important to also join the other projects and then possibly monitor new initiatives that the company decides to take. We could keep in touch with the company to see if they will participate in other projects similar to this one.
